Hard and soft enamel pins can be distinguished by its finished texture. Hard enamel pins are smooth, whereas soft enamel pins have raised metal edges.
A soft cotton or jewelry cloth may be used to gently polish the surface of either hard or soft enamel pins. Jewelry polishing cream may additionally be used for hard enamel pins; this can be applied to and removed from the pin with a cotton swab. While we stand by the integrity of our products, we recommend spot-testing as an added precaution.
Avoid polishing machines and abrasive chemicals.
